Work out on a saturday morning

A misty december morning and a saturday... Today, the official day for any software engineer to spend atleast 12 hours in bed and equally another to eat party and get a nasty hangover...

Well, since I don't do most of those I decided to fix an appointment with a medical lab to get the examination done for my life insurance... Bang 9 in the morning I hit the road and in another 30mins I am running on a tread mill... 3.5 miles an hour and I am not supposed to jog, 'take long steps' the instruction came from the doctor's assistant... 2 mins later things slowed down to more earthly speeds except for my heart which has hit it's rev limit at 150 beats per min... 30 more mins and all done...

I am 181 cms tall, weighing @ 64 kgs, the results of blood sample will be known soon... Now its time for a hot and steaming tomato onion utapam...

I just left the office parking lot last evening after another boring day in office doing injustice to my education, a fairly young guy asked for a 'lift' (hitch a ride, that's how we call it) to 'pimpri' a place i don't know where... i promptly told him i can offer him a ride only till 'hinjewadi chowk'... the deal was closed and in no time he was in the pillion seat...

The point is i would have not stopped to offer a ride for anyone who even faintly resembled a software engineer not because he will listen to his tinny sounding FM receiver while i negotiate the dusty road, but just because i hate the Software engineering race as a whole... may be i am blowing it bigger that it is, but i do hate the software what so ever. This guy as i learned was working in the House keeping department of the same company i am in... and he was more than happy to be working in the company... just because there was a million watt smile when he said 'main bhi In****s mein hoon' , i was happy for a brief slice of time... for him, not for me...
